ISO 45001 is an international standard for occupational health and safety management systems. It is designed to help organizations protect their employees, contractors, other people in the workplace and the public from harm related to work activities. The ISO 45001 certification process includes a self-assessment based on six domains of management system requirements: policy development; risk assessment; hazard identification; control of hazards at source; monitoring of performance against targets (including corrective actions); and continual improvement.
