The Delhi-Jaipur route (280 km) is one of the most popular Golden Triangle circuits. Here's the ideal route based on multiple trips.

Best Route: NH 48 (Delhi-Jaipur Highway) This is the fastest and most convenient route via Gurgaon-Manesar-Dharuhera-Shahjahanpur-Kotputli-Jaipur.

Journey Time: 4.5-5.5 hours (depending on traffic and stops)

Recommended Stops:
1. Neemrana (122 km from Delhi - 1.5 hours): Perfect breakfast stop with multiple options:
Neemrana Fort Palace (if you want heritage experience, book in advance)
Highway dhabas serving hot parathas and chai
Clean restroom facilities
2. Shahpura (200 km - another 1.5 hours): A quick rest break to stretch legs. Several clean cafes and fuel stations are available.
3. Jal Mahal View Point (before entering Jaipur): Excellent photo opportunity. Many groups stop here for 15-20 minutes for pictures with the scenic water palace in the background.

Alternate Scenic Route: Via Alwar (for Leisure Travelers) If time permits and you want to explore, take Delhi-Alwar-Jaipur route:
Damdama Lake (60 km): Nature spot for quick break
Alwar City (150 km): Visit Bala Quila fort, have lunch
Siliserh Lake (165 km): Beautiful lake with palace

Then proceed to Jaipur (another 150 km)
Total time: 7-8 hours with sightseeing
Based on Real Travel: On my last Jaipur trip with tempo traveller price per km in Delhi at ₹24, we took the NH 48 route:
Left Delhi at 7 AM

Breakfast at Neemrana roadside dhaba (8:30 AM): Stuffed parathas cost ₹60 per person
Quick break at Shahpura (10 AM)
Reached Jaipur by 12 noon

Total travel cost: ₹280 km × 2 (round trip) × ₹24 = ₹13,440

Food Recommendations En Route:
Murthal (if taking slight detour): Famous for parathas at Amrik Sukhdev/Gulshan Dhaba
