Autumn Joy Sedum need little attention, and hence, it is the best ones to start with. They like open sun to grow well and have bright foliage, although there are varieties that can withstand partial shade. Relevant soil to avoid root rot must be well-drained. Water sparingly and leave the soil to dry in between watering periods. Sedums do not require frequent fertilizing because they will become weak due to excess nutrients. It is recommended that the dead leaves and flowers be removed regularly to give the garden a clean look.
