I was recently working on a tight-deadline bid and realized how much time quantity takeoffs actually consume. Doing everything manually was slowing things down, so I tried professional construction takeoff services for the first time. The level of detail I received was far better than what I usually produce under pressure.
What stood out most was how organized the takeoff sheets were, with materials clearly categorized, reducing the chances of missing items and making cross-checking during bid preparation easier. It definitely helped speed things up and reduce errors. Has anyone else here switched to external takeoff services? I would love to hear what has worked (or hasn’t) for you.
