Planning a group trip from Delhi? My experience with Urbania vs Tempo Traveller.

Post by vinodkumar »

Hi everyone, we just returned from a 3-day trip to Lansdowne with a group of 13. Being from Delhi, we usually take two SUVs, but this time we opted for an Urbania rental Delhi service to keep the group together.

What I learned:
- The Drive: On the narrow turns past Kotdwar, the Urbania felt much more stable than the old school vans.
- The Delhi Heat: If you're booking in April-June, the Urbania’s AC is a lifesaver. It has roof-mounted vents that actually work for the last row.
- Cost: We paid around $₹32/km$ plus state taxes. It was slightly more than a TT but the comfort was 10x better.

If anyone is looking for the current 2026 rate list for different seating options (9, 13, 17 seater), I used this company: Urbania rental Delhi. They were quite transparent about the MCD and toll charges which are usually a headache in Delhi.

I chose from Aerocity Escort, and the variety and professionalism were impressive. The companion was confident, engaging, and made me feel completely at ease.
