Buy tickets online via ASI website: skip the morning queue completely
Reach by 8–9 AM; crowds build heavily after 10:30 AM
Elephant rides are at the base: decide before entering, queue fills fast
Light and Sound show (evenings) is worth it if your group is staying overnight
Practical advice: The fort climb is moderate, elderly members should take the jeep shuttle available at the base (₹100/person approx).
