Is it ever possible to use "drip" negatively?

Post by radarro »

Even though the word "drip" is typically used positively, it can also be used sarcastically to make fun of an outfit that someone believes is excessively mismatched. For instance, someone might use an eye-roll emoji to joke, "Nice drip." Rarely, it might also be used to coerce children into adhering to particular fashion trends. However, it is rarely used negatively. It's usually a sincere compliment. All parents need to teach their children the distinction between harmless online taunts and offensive remarks.
