I was having a lot of issues with weak signals in my backyard and garage, so I decided to add an outdoor satellite to my existing Orbi mesh system.
At first, I placed the satellite close to the main router and powered it on. After waiting a few minutes for the device to boot up, I used the Orbi app to begin the setup process. The app detected the satellite automatically, and within a few steps I was able to connect Orbi satellite to my network without any complicated configuration.
