How is the legroom in a 9 seater vs 12 seater tempo traveller?

Post by ajaysengar »

Great question and honestly something most people don't think about until they're already sitting in the vehicle for hour three of a long trip!

From personal experience the 9 seater has noticeably better legroom per person. Since the same vehicle body is fitted with fewer seats the spacing between rows is more generous. Taller people above 5'10 will genuinely feel the difference on a long highway journey.

The 12 seater is comfortable too but it gets slightly tighter especially in the last row. If your group has elderly members or anyone with knee issues I would honestly suggest the 9 seater even if your group is 10 people and two travel a little cozy upfront.

For overnight or multi day trips this difference matters even more because you need to stretch and rest properly.

If comfort is your priority over cost, always mention it while booking 9 tempo traveller in Delhi and ask specifically about seat configuration before confirming
